CMJ Shark is committed to accuracy. When we publish an error of fact, we correct it as quickly as possible and add a note to the story explaining what changed and when. We don’t quietly rewrite stories to hide mistakes.

Request a correction

Email corrections@cmjshark.com or use the contact form and choose “Correction.” Include the link to the story, the error, and any documentation that supports the correction.

Updates vs. corrections

An update adds new information as a story develops; the “Updated” time in the byline reflects it. A correction fixes something we got wrong and is always noted in the story.
